#1

This is the beginning, not quite sure where to start but I'm sure we'll get better as we go along.

How we met: In 2009 I decided I wanted to live on my own. So I started out on this adventure with one of my best friends. We looked at apartments all over and found one, but they were taking forever to approve us and it felt like we were dealing with a very unorganized company. So I told my friend that probably wansn't the place for us. I found a little house through a friend at work and fell in love with it. Very old (we're talking 50's) and very vintage. It was perfect, and I wanted to live there. My friend however did not, so she went on her way and moved in with someone else leaving me to try and find another roomate who could afford rent and utilities and wouldn't annoy me. We have a family friend that my mom was talking to when the subject of me needing a roomate popped up. She said she knew the perfect person named Lacey. Lacey and I met, I showed her the house and three weeks later we were moving in together. Complete strangers. So we got our little house together and started a friendship that I'm sure will last for a long time. I started noticing Lacey was on the phone every night with a boy pretty much from the time we moved in together. One night she came into my room and said "Hey, you wanna hear my canadian friends accent?" and of course I did, the next thing I knew someone was saying "What abote the boat?". Hahaha, Oh Anthony. At first I thought that was Lacey's love interest and even encouraged her to pursue him a few times. I got so excited when she told me he would be coming to stay with us for a week for her sisters wedding, I thought I could scope out how things went and then guide her from there. So the week came when Anthony was supposed to come down and I was ready. I had taken the week off, and was going to enjoy all of it. We went to the airport to pick him up and my first though was "oh, he's kind of cute.", that was that, we met then we ate then we came home.

During that week, Lacey was busy with wedding stuff pretty much the whole time so Anthony and I were forced to hang out a lot. We clicked though, it was so easy to get along and after an hour or so we were instant friends. And then I started hoping Lacey wasn't interested in him.

God knew that I wasn't meant to move in with my best friend, he placed a complete stranger in my life and through her I met another complete stranger who has changed my life. If this isn't a perfectly knit plan...I don't know what one is.
